01. Each team will have three participants; one adult and two others seventeen years of age or younger.
02. All Decisions made by the Tournament Officials are final.
03. All Federal, Provincial and State boating and fishing regulations must be adhered to. Only one (1) rod and reel combination may be in use at one time, by each team member while competing in an AYA sanctioned tournament.
04. All boats must be 14 feet or longer and will be subjected to a morning boat check, prior to the start of a tournament, for proper safety equipment, working live wells and kill switches. All boats must have the kill switch attached to the boat operator when above an idle. Coolers tackle boxes, under deck rod storage, and battery compartment areas will also be subject for inspection. All violations must be corrected to the satisfaction of the Tournament Director prior to the start of a tournament. Floatation devices must be worn at all times.
05. No alcohol or non-prescription drugs may be consumed during tournament hours. A team found in violation of this rule will be disqualified. The team's entry fee will not be refunded.
06. Un-sportsman like conduct will not be tolerated and will be cause for disqualification. Any team disqualified for any reason will not receive a refund of their entry fees.
07. Boundaries are waters legally accessible by boat. NO TRESPASSING!
08. A five (5) bass limit will be in effect. No fishing or culling is permitted after check in. Only 5 bass are allowed in the live well when moving from one area to another while operating the gas engine. If found with more than a 5 bass limit when above an idle you will be forced to cull to the five bass limit starting with your heaviest bass.
09. Prizes will be awarded in order of the team’s heaviest weight overall and awarded to the angler and young angler on a separate basis. In the case of a tie, the team’s heaviest fish will determine the winner, or via a coin toss.
10. Competitors may obtain fuel, repairs or use washroom facilities from marinas at any time during the tournament. One competitor must remain in the boat and refrain from fishing during the time they are docked.
11. No fishing is allowed in the Host marina, within 100 feet of a competitor's boat, 50 feet of a non-competitor's boat or 100 yards of MNR nets.
12. Tournament hours will be from 8:30 A.M. till 3:30 P.M. unless deemed otherwise by tournament officials. A general meeting will be held prior to the tournament start.
13. Cell phones and/or radios may only be used for emergency purposes. The use of under water camera systems are prohibited and not allowed on board during tournament hours.
Penalties: All bass must measure no less then twelve (12) inches from tip to tip. Any bass deemed shorter than 12 inches will be ineligible. In addition, a one (1) pound penalty will be assessed to the team’s weight for each ineligible bass. A team deemed late for weigh-in will have a one pound per minute assessed against their weight. After 15 minutes the team will be disqualified and no weight will be awarded. In the opinion of tournament officials, any bass judged to be dead or likely not to survive, will not be released and will result in an 8-ounce (.50 lb.) penalty.
